Rescuers Save Pregnant Mare Trapped Under The Ice

We have seen, by far, many videos of horses in critical circumstances, and many of these are caused as a result of irresponsibility by horse owners who fail to keep an eye on their horses. You should always keep an eye on and take care of your lovely horse. Fortunately, there are many cases where nothing serious happened and everything went perfectly. However, we should also keep in mind that there are some other cases when horse ending was not desirable.

That’s what the following video is all about. The owners of the horse really need to be thankful to the animal rescuers who also put themselves in a critical situation in order to save the life of the horse. They are the true heroes even though they don’t get the recognition they deserve. The horse fell into the icy water of a frozen pond and could not come out. The rescuers jumped in to get the horse out of the ice but they got surprised when they realized that the horse was also pregnant. That means that their tasks became extra difficult since they had to had extra care to save two lives at the same time.

The panicked 5-year-old mare is trapped in the frozen pond with no way out, while rescuers tirelessly try to get her out. Moreover, the unborn foal will be hypothermic at any moment and that’s the reason why the team will do everything possible to save the mare and her baby. Just as the exhausted mare was about to give up, she tried really hard and jumped but fell again.

After 40 minutes in the water, the horse was going through the last minutes and the miracle happened. Fortunately, the horse was taken out of the ice.
